Following a few trades, the Giants selected former Georgia linebacker Azeez Ojulari with the No. 50 pick and former UCF cornerback Aaron Robinson with the No. 71 pick.

Pre-draft, Giants were thinking about pass rushers but thought 11 would be too high to take one. They like Ojulari but thought he was a second-rounder who might go in the first. Staying patient, trading down (twice!) they get him where they wanted to. Gettleman doing well.

The Giants trade up with Broncos to pick 71 and take CB Aaron Robinson from Central Florida. Heard a lot of good things about Robinson. Some considered him a sneaky second-round pick. Giants get him early in third.

Don’t underestimate the value of depth especially in the defensive backfield.

Another versatile piece for Patrick Graham who can play slot corner or in the box. Attacks screens really well.

Ojulari is someone we talked about as a potential 1st round pick. Very strong around the edge with his hands and dip/rip move. Really long (34.5 inch arms), effective stand-up rusher. 14 sacks in his last two seasons at Georgia. Joe Judge has connections to Kirby Smart.
