ST. LOUIS (AP) --It has been nearly a decade since Isaac Bruce caught the winning touchdown pass in the St. Louis' Rams' lone Super Bowl victory. Now, the 16-year veteran is in his second season with the 49ers, and happy to be playing once again for a winning team.
The 49ers (2-1) host Bruce's old team, the winless Rams, on Sunday. St. Louis will try to snap a 13-game losing streak that dates to last year and is the longest current streak in the NFL.
Bruce is still productive after all these years. He is second on the 49ers with 10 catches for 147 yards.
But after playing on losing teams for the past five years, he says it just feels good to be on a team that is playing well.
