The Junior Giants 2008 Season Celebration was a huge success!  The event, held on Tuesday, March 24th, gathered over 450 Junior Giants at Giants Stadium for an afternoon filled with family, fun and football.  The event started off with New York Giants Alumni, Charles Way, welcoming the kids and warming them up with games and football stretches in preparation for an activity packed day.  Helping out Way were four current Giants players who came out to celebrate the day with the fans – Tight End Kevin Boss, Linebacker Chase Blackburn and Offensive Linemen Kevin Boothe, and Rich Seubert.  The players had a blast doing push-ups and sit-ups with the kids before getting settled into their autograph station. 

Once warm-ups were done, members and their parents were divided into three groups in order to maximize their time at the three main areas of the event.  While some waited for a team pictured signed by all four current players in attendance, everyone else was free to roam between the Field and the Bubble.  In the Bubble seven different drills were run including a 40-yard dash and a Quarterback precision drill.  Down on the field there were exciting drills and inflatables, as well a chance to peek inside the Giants Locker Room! Everyone was also able to get their picture taken for free by the Giants team photographer.  

Junior Giants Member Zach, 8, yelled to his dad "This is the best day ever!" right after making a diving catch onto the Giants inflatable.  Even the players had fun, "It's great to be out here with so many Giants fans.  We see them at the games, but it's not the same as connecting with them one on one at events like this.  We all love coming out for the kids and playing catch or challenging them in one of the drills.  Today was a lot of fun," said Seubert.  The day wrapped at 6:00 p.m. and everyone left with snacks for the ride home and their very own New York Giants water bottle.
