If healthy, will Terrell Thomas make more of an impact as CB or Safety?**
MICHAEL EISEN: Cornerback. Before he underwent two knee surgeries, Thomas was the Giants' best cornerback two seasons in a row. If he's healthy, he could perhaps approach that level after he sheds some rust. You can never have enough good cornerbacks.
JOHN SCHMEELK: I think he will be a hybrid player that plays the slot, and does a little bit of everything. I think technically he would get more reps playing WR's that playing deep zone, so I will go CB.
DAN SALOMONE: It's too early to call on this one. There are still hurdles to clear before he can even step onto the field in live action. Coaches, trainers, and Thomas himself are taking it slowly – as they should – and we just need to see where he is physically before talking about his role. But he has reiterated all year that he is willing to play any position if it gets him on the field.
