Who do you think will be named team captains heading into the season?
MICHAEL EISEN: This election will be a sweep for the incumbents. Eli Manning, Justin Tuck and Zak DeOssie have been the Giants' captains each of the previous two seasons. All three players are highly-respected team leaders. It would be an upset if the same trio is not re-elected when their teammates vote prior to the 2013 season.
JOHN SCHMEELK: I would be shocked if it is anyone other than Eli Manning, Justin Tuck, and Zak DeOssie.
DAN SALOMONE: At the end of the day, I don't think it changes from the recent past. Eli Manning, of course, will get the nod on offense. Without Lawrence Tynes, there isn't really a challenger to Zak DeOssie in terms of seniority and influence on special teams. On defense, Antrel Rolle's respect and voice cannot be underestimated, nor can Jason Pierre-Paul's talent and Corey Webster's place in the franchise. But Justin Tuck, probably behind only Manning, is the face of the organization as far as players go. He'll be wearing a "C" on his chest in 2013.
