Question 15: Which position is the biggest strength heading into the season?

MICHAEL EISEN: A number of positions could be chosen here, but I'm going with … quarterback.  It's the most important position on the team (there's a breaking story) and the Giants are fortunate to have Eli Manning playing it. Yes, he threw 27 interceptions last season. But he as playing behind an offensive line that provided little protection. Manning is still a terrific football player who is determined to prove that last year's poor showing was a fluke (look how quickly he returned to the field after ankle surgery). He worked diligently this offseason to learn the Giants' new offensive terminology. With Chris Snee, Manning is the longest-tenured Giants player. He has the respect of his teammates, which is vital to all quarterbacks. This season begins a new era for the Giants offense and Manning is the perfect player to lead the way.

JOHN SCHMEELK: Cornerback. The Giants go five deep in terms of players most teams would feel fairly comfortable starting: Prince, DRC, Thurmond, Bowman, and McBride. Then throw in a third round pick in Jayron Hosely and an undrafted free agent that impressed last year in Charles James and the Giants have one of the deepest and talented groups in the league.

DAN SALOMONE: I think it comes down to the cornerback and defensive tackle positions, but I'm going with the corners. The quality of these two spots last season fed off each other to allow just 48 big plays in 2013, tied with the San Francisco defense for third-fewest in the NFL. But as far as corners, the Giants have gotten deeper at that position with the offseason acquisitions of Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Walter Thurmond III. Prince Amukamara is also coming into his own, and the team has some promising talent that could develop
