-           Originally a 7th round (24th pick overall) draft choice by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2000…Signed as a free agent by the Oakland Raiders on March 12, 2004…Released by the Raiders on Sept. 2, 2006…Signed by the New Orleans Saints on Sept. 5, 2006…Signed by the Houston Texans on March 7, 2007…Signed by the Giants on March 13th, 2008

-           This is Clark’s 2nd term playing under Coach Tom Coughlin; he played 3 seasons for Coughlin after being drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2000.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

-           Has played in 122 games with 67 starts…Clark played in all 16 games 6 times and started every game twice – with the 2002 Jaguars and the 2004 Raiders…Has played inside and outside linebacker…Career totals include 576 tackles (384 solo), 5 sacks, 6 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, 16 passes defensed and 2 interceptions.
-           In 2007, won the starting strongside linebacker job in training camp and played in 13 games with 8 starts for the Texans…Was inactive for 3 games late in the season with a groin injury…Finished with 43 tackles (34 solo), 2 passes defensed and 1 interception…Started his 1st game as a Texan at vs. Kansas City and had 5 tackles (4 solo)…Started at Oakland (11/4) and finished with 5 solo tackles. Intercepted his 1st pass of the season when he picked off Josh McCown…Had 6 tackles (4 solo), a forced fumble and a special teams tackle at Cleveland (11/25).
-           In 2006, played in all 16 games for New Orleans as a reserve linebacker and on special teams…Joined the Saints just prior to the start of the regular season after spending training camp with Oakland…Finished with 13 tackles (10 solo) and 13 tackles on special teams…Made his Saints debut with a special teams stop at Cleveland (9/10)…Registered a season-high 7 tackles (5 solo) in the season finale vs. Carolina (12/31)…Had 3 special teams tackles in NFC Divisional Playoff win over Philadelphia (1/13)…Contributed a solo tackle and a pass defensed in NFC Championship Game at Chicago (1/21).

-           In 2004, started all 16 games at ILB in his 1st season with the Raiders and led the team with 129 tackles (98 solo), 2 sacks for minus-16 yards and 5 passes defensed…Recorded 4 tackles and 1 pass defensed in Raiders debut at Pittsburgh (9/12/)…Had a team-high 11 tackles and a sack for an 11-yard loss vs. Buffalo (9/19)…Recorded a team- and career-high 16 tackles (13 solo) vs. San Diego (11/21).
-          In 2003, his final season in Jacksonville, Clark played in all 16 games with 8 starts and finished with 73 tackles and 11 special teams tackles…Registered 5 stops in season opener at Carolina (9/7)…Had 9 tackles, including 2 for losses, vs. Buffalo (9/14)…Started vs. New Orleans (12/21) and finished 2nd on the team with 11 tackles…Posted a team-high 14 tackles, 2 for loss, and added 1 tackle on special teams at Atlanta (12/28).
-        In 2002, started all 16 games for the 1st time in his career and finished as the Jaguars’ 2nd-leading tackler with a career-high 152 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 interception, a pass defensed and a forced fumble…Registered a season-high 8 tackles at Kansas City (9/15)…Had 5 tackles vs. Washington (11/10) and picked off a Shane Matthews pass for his 1st career interception.
-           In 2001, played in 13 games with 3 starts and finished with 48 tackles, 1 pass defensed and 1 forced fumble along with 17 special teams tackles…Made 1 stop on defense and also posted 4 tackles on special teams and forced a fumble that led to a touchdown at Seattle (10/7)…Started and had a season-high 8 stops at Tennessee (1/4/01).
-           As a rookie in 2000, played in all 16 games at linebacker and on special teams…Had a team-high 25 special teams tackles, tying a team record…Played at LB for the 1st time vs. Pittsburgh (10/1) and had 4 tackles and returned a fumble 44 yards…Posted a team-high 4 special teams tackles and a forced fumble that led to a score at Pittsburgh (11/19).
