Zach Cunningham, LB, Vanderbilt
Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com projected Cunningham, who became the first player in school history to earn unanimous first-team All-America recognition. The 6-foot-4, 230-pounder was also a semifinalist for the Chuck Bednarik Award, presented to college football's top defensive player, after leading the SEC with 125 total tackles.
Prisco: "He really showed up on [Vanderbilt's] defense, and the Giants have a major need for a linebacker. The defense is improving, but they need better play from this spot."

Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford
Rob Rang of The Sports Xchange liked McCaffrey, a 6-foot, 197-pound former Heisman Trophy finalist. As a sophomore in 2015, he set the NCAA single-season record for all-purpose yards (3,864) and was named the Associated Press and Pac-12 Player of the Year.
Rang: "McCaffrey isn't a bruiser but his instincts, shiftiness and soft hands out of the backfield could make him an intriguing weapon for Big Blue."
