That's when the Giants report back for the start of training camp, and like the other 31 clubs across the NFL, they have their sights set on winning the final game of the season (and putting a fifth trophy in the case).

As millions of fans prepare for the start of another NFL season with aspirations of their favorite team capturing the Lombardi Trophy, NFL.com has already glimpsed into the future and come up with 50 headlines that fans can expect to see this season. If you're a Giants fan, headline No. 50 sounds pretty good:

50. After third Super Bowl Loss to Eli's Giants, is Tom Brady really the G.O.A.T.?

There you have it. NFL.com predicts the Giants will beat the Patriots for a third time in the big game and win their fifth Super Bowl in franchise history.

"The trilogy reaches its fateful conclusion," Jeremy Bergman wrote in his forecast. "Surrounded by his most prolific offense and another stalwart defense, Eli Manning out-duels Brady, who's sacked six times in a 23-20 defeat. The postgame hysteria proclaims Eli a surefire Hall of Famer, and Brady, well ... Let's just say Joe Montana never lost a Super Bowl."

The Giants' first two victories of the Patriots in Super Bowls XLII and XLVI were also single-digit wins, 17-14 and 21-17, respectively. Outside of their annual preseason meeting, the two clubs have only had one regular-season matchup since then, a 2015 contest won by New England.

Here are the other three headlines featuring the Giants that NFL.com predicts we'll see this season:

23. Three dog night: Eli's coming for East crown with historic WR trio

Bergman: "With the Cowboys stumbling and Philly and D.C. in neutral, the Giants are in control of the NFC East, thanks to their star-studded receiving corps. OBJ, Sterling Shepard and Brandon Marshall have gotten along and gotten downfield."

41. Giants-Cowboys wild-card clash surpasses ratings records

Bergman: "Advertisers get their wish with a Saturday prime-time bout between America's largest media market and "America's Team." The Giants' defense shuts down Dak and Zeke, who remain winless in the postseason."

45. Julio Jones v. Odell Beckham results in 268 combined yards, three scores, one Giant victory

Bergman: "Big Blue is back in the big game after the Falcons-Giants NFC title clash of wideouts lives up to the hype -- and Beckham's boys, namely Evan Engram, get the last word."
